@NeneBoo589 Hey girl! I really do not wish this horrible disease on anyone because not only is it ugly, it is very painful! If you are living in the United States, you might be able to get into the Humira assistance program for patients with no health insurance and have low income
let me know if you need more info in a PMessage and I will do my best to help you out
@xmakeupbybreezyx Hi! I don’t know if I responded to you already but I have an update video, just click the link that appears on the video screen and see how well Humira has done for me!
I feel your pain, Ive been battling psoriasis since I was 13 and I’m 22. I have it 85% of my body and its horrible and wish it can go away. I have no health insurance, so basically its olive oil and a butter knife for me.
Hi there! I hope this doesn’t sound spammy, but I have started a community at RealSelf . com (a million plus unique users a month) to try to address psoriasis. I would love it if you’d come visit my community and post your story (either in written or video form) about how psoriasis has affected your life and how you’ve treated it and dealt with it. Please go to RealSelf, search for psoriasis and click on Write a Review. I’d be sooooo grateful.
thank god for yall, shit i didnt think many people had this curse
@denirio I agree! And exercise!
Lol.. I honestly first found out I had this when I was in the 6th grade.. I was scared to tell anyone cause it was around the time that I kissed my childhood girlfriend so I thought it was cooties or blahblah.. Over the years I just kept it covered.. Not too severe BUT.. I can say that youd never really notice it now cause of my diet.. Diet is the key..
@viscute104 Been there! I know how it feels it is very hard. Feel free to write me anytime you want and you can follow me on Twitter too if you want. I hope you find the right meds for you soon!
iiiiiiiiiiiiiif thats okay
im crying right now! omg, its like nobody around me has psoriasis and im struggling with it so bad, because like you said “its not sexy” i cant even look at myself in the mirror and this is my FIRST time being so open with somebody about this, nobody knows how i feel unless they have this!! i have it on the side of my neck, scalp, left arm…basically its taken over the left side of my body and no where else, weird? i know…thanks for posting this video i would like to keep in contact though
working. now i’m taking an oral medication called methotrexate and its helping but only certain areas. good luck to you and your psoriasis<3
i just made a video on my channel about psoriasis and on the side videos i saw yours and decided to watch it. youre really pretty. it sucks that even though we use all these medications that the psoriasis will still come back. i hope you can soon make an updated video on it so i can see how well the humira worked for you. ive never uses humira but ive use alot of other topical ointments, as well as the uvb booth, and the enbrel shot. all of that stuff worked for a while and then it stopped
@JannaKulasa ah i see what you mean, my doctor also prescribe me with oral meds but i take it everyday and my prescription usually last me about 6 months..I’m glad to hear your getting good results, the gym will help too. i notice when i work out at least 3 times a week my skin feels great and nutrition is very important, so i never drink alcohol or anything that can harm my body
.
@siralovesyou it’s been 3 months and I’m about 90 percent clear. I would upload a new video but the imovie on my macbook keeps crashing
Thanks for the wishes! I hope you are doing well
@monalisa125th Thank you so much! You are not alone! I hope you recovery continues! I am on my 3rd month now and I am almost clear. No side effects so far too. Good luck to you as well.
@pogpog He prescribed antibiotics in the beginning it helped with the itching because he said part of it is bacterial too (I mean I shower almost every day) but that was it. I just finished my 3-month supply and they called me right after my 90 days was done and got my script filled again. I am very happy, even with the minimal P I was happy. This time I am almost clear! I can pull my hair up and I can pretty much wear anything I want now. I started going to the gym too which helps my strength.
@JannaKulasa Hey that’s great news 90% cleared, I’m happy your doing really well
. I remember my arms was little stubborn, and sometime around 3 weeks later it cleared, about your leg and upper back, I think it will clear soon its just a matter of time, just enjoy and live life to the fullest. About my self I’m doing well thanks, I’m just enjoying the summer with friends and family while almost done my second sem. btw did the doctor give you any oral medication?
@pogpog Hey! I am doing great! I’m about 90 % cleared! I’ve been wanting to record an update but my macbook’s imovie had been crashing and I haven’t been able to solve it for a while now! There’s still small P spots on my right leg and upper back that is stubborn but I would take that! The only thing I have now is a lot of discoloration from where the P was especially on my back. The sun’s been helping evening out the marks and I’ve also been using vitamin E cream on it as well. How are you?
hello, how are you? how’s the humira going? wishing you all the best!!
I just made video about how I have psoriasis….I sent you it… I hope you’re doing well
I have eczema been suffering for years and it comes up on my face, ears, back, and arm pits. To combat it i use a psoriasis cream called triderma everyday out the shower it has helped me a great deal. Now I no longer get itchy patches but I have to be consistent if I don’t use it for a day my skin will get dry itchy and dark. I know the ugly feeling before I found triderma I had a difficult time accepting my skin condition I used to cry cu my skin itches so bad. I hope everything works out for
First off I would like to thank you for making me feel alot better , meaning that I thought I was the only one in the world with the ugly skin prob. I’m 33 now but I had psoriasis since i was 9. i been taken huimira pen for a year now and I love it. so far no prob with the meds side effects thank god!!! So good luck with your humira and your are very pretty.
